Me and my fiancee got back together today, but late last nite i had lost it to his best friend! He doesnt know about it and i am afraid if i tell him he'll freak out and not react in a reasonable way! He has had a history of domestic violence against women when he was younger but he's been doing really good while he has been with me. Should i tell him??

It sounds like to me you to have some real problems. You sleeping with hes best friend is one. If you have any concise you won't be able to keep it from him.The fact your even on here asking about it tells me you do and you feel guilty about it. Second this best friend of his is no friend or else he would not of slept with you,now you have to worry about him growing a concise a telling him.Now as for dealing with his temper,I'm not saying that people don't change but I've dealt with domestic violence in my home growing up and men rarely change. If I were You I would get out of there and count my blessing that I didn't marry the guy. Because that's not a good start to a marriage

Yeah, this is a difficult situation. Although I do agree that honesty is key in any relationship, the fact remains that when you "lost it", you and your fiance where not technically together. If you do decide to tell him, i vote for telling him in a public place that way you can almost ensure that he will not become violent....like in a public restaurant. At the same time if he cannot control his anger, you might end up in an embarrassing situation. If I were you, the guilt would probably weigh on me so badly that I would have no other choice but to confess. But if you can keep this secret and can still persue a healthy relationship with your fiance then I say, don't tell. Telling him or not, both has it's pros and cons. But ultimately it IS your decision to tell him or not. Think about it some more, weigh your options and then decide. A last note is that you if ever decide to tell him, make sure you tell him before you get married!

Okay so you werent together when you did his friend right? well then i would tell him in a public place and ask him how many he tapped while you two wer away if he says none you should say you should have ^_^. No seriously you shouldnt be with a violent guy, tell him and see how he reacts but be with those you trust keep them out of whisper range but close enough to watch your every move. Make sure to have pepper spray too and 911 in your head if he flies off the rocker. If he acts like a drama queen threat him like one...

That one is kind of a situation. You want to keep and honest relationship. But I would say no if you did this before you both got back together. But on the other hand you may want to because if you dont then his best friend will tell him and it will look even worse on you. Sorry I could not be of more help!!

I would be careful, if he has a history of family violence they are able to control themselves long enough to catch a wife and get her tied down with children and then the abuse can come back. Do you really want to risk this? You only have one life and I hope you have the best life that you can have.. Best Wishes!!!

hmmm... ok if you are afraid of him then their is something wrong. especially if you are going to be married you need to feel secure and safe..why would you sleep with the best friend? you just broke the cardnal rule not to sleep with his friends..How woulld you like it if he slept with yours? I would think that he would be more upset at the best friend. I say leave the situation all together

You might want to tell him in a public place!!
You don't want him to find out through his best friend running his mouth to other people!!!

if he has a history of domestic violence, then i don't know why you are with him, leave him immediately and don't tell him, unless you have someone bigger and stronger with you
