Get together with him - this is the sort of thing you can't do over the net or the phone.
Meet for soda or lunch or something equally casual, have a great conversation, and if you feel you're getting a good vibe from him just ask him - I'm having a great time with you as always - do you want to make this into something more? - and if he answers no, you're going to have to decide whether you want to continue as you are now. I think it wouldn't be wise to press him for reasons, if he said no, because then you'd be making yourself look desperate.
Remember: Strike while the iron's hot - if you aren't getting this positive vibe from him, wait until another time.

that's not so easy even for guys to ask girls. but the easiest way is to honest with your feelings about him to him and tell him that you interested in being more with him. As for sex not.Unless he has chose to be your bf. But ask him whats the worst that could happen, you won't lose a friend, by you might gain a partner.
