Several years ago there was a huge story about a woman who did just that and won. I believe it was in Boston but you'd have to search to be sure. (sorry). Anyway, she found an old law called:
ALIENATION OF AFFECTION
and under the guidelines she was able to sue the interloper.

TECHNICALLY, YES YOU CAN. It's called alienation of affection. But you can only sue if you can prove they manipulated your spouse into sleeping with them, and developing feelings for them. There are several made for tv movies about it.

Yes it has happened before. Women have been sued by wives for pain and suffering and any "gifts" or money spent on mistresses among other things. The wife has to prove that the "other woman" knew that the man was married though.

Find out if there is a std involved..you can nail the other person for attempted murder..assault.

I don't think you can. It's strictly a moral issue and you can't sue for moral issues.
