I say why (excuse my french) the hell can't you date. Just let the guy know from the gate that your about having sex with anyone until you're married. If he was taught to respect women then he should undertsand. If not and he wants to end things, then simply send him on his merry way, it will just be his loss, and it saves you from wasting your time on someone who wasn't right for you. Unfortunately there are guys who are just out to get a little and move one. And those are the ones who always end up alone in the long run.

just because you date doesn't mean you have to have sex.

if that's the case with most of the men that you know, i recommend only accepting invitations to date after you've had a chance to somehow let the man know what your position is on the issue. then date only men who would respect that boundary.

even intimate, caring relationships have boundaries. this doesn't just go for dating, but for marriage as well. learn how to negotiate and don't be afraid to let your partner know where your boundaries are.

btw for me personally i'm a non-dater for the same reason and i agree with pam.

No. You'll eventually find the right guy who will make you think twice about remaining a virgin. Since you want to remain a virgin, then don't tempt yourself. Engage in activities that support your decision.

YES!!!! DATE!!!!! there is nothing that says you have to give in.
So.. you have a lot of first, second and maybe third dates.. so? you are still learning about what YOU like in people and what you don't... in time... someone will stick around for the 10th date... don't get so hung up about it.

Do what YOU feel is right...

Yes, if you want to wait...DO IT!

Don't let anyone pressure you to do something that you don't want to do.

Any man who TRULY loves you, will respect your wishes. Personally, I was a virgin as was my husband when we got married. Neither of us regret that decision.
