My Friend asked me what should she do, she's been with her husband for 3 years. He cheated on her about a year ago, but he told her he didnt't sleep with the girl. Then this year she got her yearly pap check. And she found out that she has a S.T.D. But she has already forgiven him. She want 's to make her marriage work . But then she is unsure on if she's right or not.

It sure is a coincidence that you and your friend have both been married 3 years and all your previous questions were about affairs.
Non the less, first I would have the husband tested for the same STD (it would have been more helpful if you had said which one)
Then sit down with the hubby. If both want to stay married, stay married if one does not, then proceed with a divorce. Make sure she tells her next partner what STD she has and she should make sure any future honey of the hubby knows too. Personally I think anyone with a STD should be made to get a tattoo (in a discreet place) so future partners know what they are being exposed to.

Unfortunately it is pretty obvious that he either lied to her or has cheated on her since that time. She needs to talk to him and force him to tell her the truth. This could be more serious than just and STD...this could end up being aids if her husband is fooling around with other women having unprotected sex. She needs the truth to figure out what she needs to do.

Sorry to say but the s.t.d would been it for me . that is unforgivable. what if she had got aids ? whats love got to do with it . trust is key . she must forgive but move on whats to say she may not be so lucky the next time . i pray for your friend,let God show her the way. you give an inch they take a mile!

When he cheated the first time she should of divorced him and moved on with her life instead of forgiving him. By doing that shes just saying oh its okay to cheat. Hes thinking well if she forgave me this time then she'll do it again. Once a cheater always a cheater.

she should think about her health, safety and trust in this man. he said he didn't sleep around, and if she didn't sleep around, how did she get an STD?
men can pass things to other women and never get it themselves, they tell on themselves that way. if she doesn't mind surprises like that in the future, she may be alright staying but she may need a monthly pap. He lied to her already and put her health in danger. she can forgive and let go, or forgive and stay.

as a friend you should tell her to leave him. because once a cheater alway a cheater. he cross the line when he pass the std to her. i wouldnt forgive him if i was in her shoes. she should leave him. but then on the other hand if she love him then maybe they should go get help. but like i said if i was in her place i wouldnt forgive him. because for a fact it's like she sleeping with her too because he slept with the other woman and then he got home and had sex with your friend. but just tell her to follow her heart and i hope everything come out good. good luck

Well, hubby obviously lied or she is the one cheating. She needs to get some self esteem for herself. She HAS to confront hubby and make him tell her the truth, then dump his butt, get a divorce and move forward. She will need counseling and plenty of it, and if kids are involved it's going to be even worse. If not, she needs to move ahead now....
