She may remember what attracted her to him in the beginning and the associated feelings may make her feel that she would be doing wrong by marring his "image." This isn't anything against you, she just is confused about what the right thing to do is. However, it is your house too. If there honestly is no good reason for the ex to be driving by (such as it's out of his way or you live on a slow side street), then you should get a restraining order as he is also harassing you. Your wife may be angry, but take the time to gently explain to her what you are going to do and why (using rash words will make things worse).

He's driving by to see if you are home. He stops in and bangs her when you're gone. If you slap him with a restraining order and you catch him at the house he can go to jail and she loses her "pony ride". Sorry dude, you are being played.
