My Mother-in-Law
I met her when I was 16 and married her son when I was 18. No-one has ever been kinder to me that she has. She came into my life when I really needed her and she "mothered" me when I really needed it!
She has lived her life in a good Christian way - volunteering in her community and helping her neighbours. I remember when she had her own 4 children that she would bake pies and she would always make enough to take one to the neighbours who didn't have much.
My husband died at the age of 40 but his mother and I continue to have a wonderful relationship. My second husband loves her too! She is grandma to my two older children and also to the daughter that my second husband and I have together.
That woman has a BIG heart!

I don't think I have a role model, I once had a teacher tell me in primary school many many moons ago, that if a job is worth doing it is worth doing well. I tend to live by that rule, so maybe she has kinda influenced me..

I would have to say my father. He is the most honest, caring, trust-worthy man I have ever known. He has taught me so much about who I want to be as a person. He has given me a wonderful life that I wouldn't trade for anything in the world and I respect him more than he will ever know.

My mother! She passed away earlier this year, and it was not until then that I realized what a profound impact she has had on my life! She was a great woman and a wonderful mother. She raised 9 children and sacrificed her own dreams to have a wonderful, close, large family. I miss her terribly and admire her so much!
