My ex-husband and I have a four year old daughter. I am currently remarried with a baby on the way. My husband is wonderful to my daughter, calls her his kid, and does things with her that her own father won't do. I don't force her to call my husband daddy or anything. His whole family loves her.
The thing is, my husband gave my daughter a bath and washed her hair while I was at work. My ex is trying to use that and the fact that I work nights against me in court, and is fighting me for custody. Does he have legal grounds to stand on?

I dont think that would have any real standing in court. Your husband is caring for her like a father SHOULD do. And same with you working nights. The court is not going to grant him custody just because you work nights, and your husband cares for her. That, in my opinion, just shows there is a loving, careing family that is raising a beautiful 4 year old.

That would depend upon the age of your daughter. If she is old enough to bath herself, be in the tub alone, and dry herself off, then yes, it could be used against you. But if you normally have to bathe her, then no, it cannot be used against you; for he is the man of the house now, and as such, she is simply one of the duties of the house.
