when u cannot think of any other things to discuss because u felt like u already have discussed everything. should u give yourselves a break, to what extent? how will u tell him? would it somehow affect or harm the relationship?

My take:

If you are in the right relationship you shouldn't feel the need to do something or talk about something. With the right person, sometimes you are just content doing absolutely nothing. I'm not sure if a break would fix it, but keep in mind that relationships do take work and there have been times in my own that we really couldn't find anything and every relationship has its ups and downs.

Hope this wasn't too preachy sorry if it was.

I think you should just let him go to find the person that will love him the same. Not trying to be mean, you are being selfish right now by tying him to this relationship and u know you do not want to give as much as he is giving you. He may be a nice guy, but not the right nice guy for you, even if you eventually get marrried, u may get so bored of him and cheat on him, can u stand to hurt him in this way? I've been with my boyfriend for (going on) 6years. We don't get bored of each other at all. We want to spend as much time as possible together (our alone time). Just an example. Well, basically what I am saying is, it doesn't sound like you two is right for each other. And just the nice guy he is, he's gonna keep putting his 120% to make things work out. Look deep into your heart, u'll know that there is just SOMETHING miossing, he's not the one, nice or not. You'll find another guy that is perfect for u. Good luck!

if the relationship is boring for u, it's prolly boring for ur boyfriend. depending how involved the relationship is i.e living together, married, engaged...or just dating....u should prolly break up and see other people. will it harm or affect the relationship?? it already has. if u dont say/do something, he prolly will. if u want to keep it, do activities together. how can u run out of things to discuss??? do something together, meet people; grab a LIFE and talk about ur new experiences.

I doubt you've discussed everything - there are an infinite number of topics. However, maybe you should take a trip together. Or start a hobby together - like painting or wood working. Something that you haven't done before that would be a new experience for both of you.

It happened to me, when i was younger i was with a guy from 15-23 and found i was bored. When I left him he was hurt. A great guy but was the only way i actually new i still loved him. If you do not love him, break it off. If you do, just make things more interesting and dont break it off because it can back fire.

It will probably harm the relationship, do you always have to talk, I find that the silence is sometimes nice just being with someone who loves me is awesome we don't need to have a 24 hour conversation.

You could try taking up a new hobby together. Unless that is you don't want to be in the relationship any longer.

Alcohol makes everything fun. Cook dinner, have a few drinks, and see where the night goes

btw, i have the same problem as you, the only difference is i'm not sure if i'm willing to put in the effort to make him happier. if he doesnt put the effort in, why should i?
