okay. if ANYONE says yes to this question then you need your licence revoked. even if you are first and you see someone coming up to the intersection from another way it is good to stop and wait to see what they are doing... because even though you know the rules they might not.... so you have the right of way if
A) you are turning right
B) you are going straight (as well as the other person if they are going straight as well.. that is why both people can go at the same time if youre going straight)
you do NOT have right of way when turning left at this time you wait until they go as well as ALL THE OTHER CARS BEHIND THEM... you WILL get blamed otherwise.... cops can judge by skidmarks how accidents occur... be wary.
now practice your new found knowledge :)
ohh yeah i forgot ... the person to your right is completely wrong as well... if you are meeting someone head to head... then who is to your right???? YOU BOTH ARE! gah people go back to driving school.

on a four way its the car to the right that has the right of way, if they get there at the same time.
I can't imagine a 2 way, just 4 way with 2 cars.
A 3 way would be treated the same as a 4 way.
If it's a 2 way in the same direction, like at a school crossing, you don't have to wait for the other car because he can't turn.
Is this a trick question?

The person who stops first. However, technically if you get to the stop sign at the same time and no one is turning in front of you...just going straight or turning not to cross your path, then you can both go.

2 way stop is the person who gets there first.... but if one is turning he has to yield to the person going straight........same as a 4 way stop... BUT, if everyone arrives at the same time at a 4 way stop, then whoever is to the right of you goes first.

At a 2-way stop, you can both proceed unless one of you is turning left. At that point, the person turning must yield to the person going straight ahead.

Whoever gets to the stop sign first goes. I'm seeing the other answers and were amazed to see that most said "the one on the right" goes first. I've been driving over 30 years and I never knew that. Oops.....

If you stop at the exact same moment the person to the right gets to go first. If someone stops first then they have the right a way.

The person to the right then the person to the right then the person to the right then the person to the right..... until someone decides they have had enough of the "giving" BS and just drives through the intersection...

Yes. If you are both going strait, then there is no problem. If you arrive at the same time, and one has to go left and the other strait, then the one going strait has the right of way
