Whenever I experience penetration, I get a lot of pain in the pit of my stomach. It's the sort of pain you feel when you get gas, I suppose, but twice as worse. Is this normal? Is this supposed to be "good" pain? I don't get any pleasure from it.

I'm not seeing anyone at the moment, but I experience this every single time, no matter what the size.

Have you asked your doctor about this? I have a friend that went through painful intercourse and found out she had endometriosis. I had my tubes tied six years ago and experience some discomfort too. Could be a lot of things, so I would see a doctor.

Definitely not normal. You should see your gynecologist and explain your symptoms. Some possible causes could be:
* endometriosis
* adenomyosis
* interstitial cystitis of bladder
* ovarian neoplasm
* ovary adhered to uterus/vaginal apex
* prolapse of fallopian tube
* pelvic adhesions
* uterine prolapse/descensus
* uterine retroversion
* posterior uterine fibroid
* other uterine neoplasms
It also might be a good idea to hold out on penetrative sex until you determine the issue.

Have you been checked for STIs (or STDs) or cysts or polyps? Any one of these things could be causing the pain you describe. Once you get checked out and everything is okay, try different positions-you and your partner might just have to find a different "way" for you to be comfortable.

Darling, that's what gynecologists are for! You should not be experiencing such discomfort. It could be a sign of a serious problem. So get yourself an appointment with your gynie, and do it soon. Such a problem cannot be diagnosed from afar, especially on this forum!

That only happens to me if I'm having doggystyle sex (lol this is so awkward talking about this on such a public site...but, oh well) but it really doesn't happen all that much to me. But I have felt that exact same feeling that you described. And, no, it's not a good pain whenever I feel that. I'm like, "OWCH!!!" lol

There should be NO pain with penetration. There may be some discomfort during ovulation, otherwise NO pain!

Any pain during intercourse is not normal. I would get evaluated by a gynecologist for an infection or other problem.

You need to see a doctor and tell him, your uterus could be prolapsed which can be very painful or you could have problems with your ovaries and the wall in your vagina. Better get it checked out very very soon.

if you dont enjoy it, then go to a doctor and have him look at things, you could have a swelling or a growth or lord knows what else, thats getting in the way. i did, and it was cancer. but that was 20 years ago, so you can survive it.
