Low blood sugar. Instead of eating something sweet, try eating something high in protein. Eating only a candy bar for instance will help for so long, and than you will crash and be in the same boat.

If you also get thirsty a lot . you may have Diabetes, get your blood sugar level checked. Don't be scared, I know a little girl that developed diabetes when she was 5. She handled it fine and did most of her treatments herself. She went to classes and learned how to control her sugar level, and what to do when she was high or low. She learned to test her own blood and give herself her shots. It does not have to change your life. She did everything that she did before, including marching in parades. Other symptoms of diabetes are abnormal thirst ,and getting angry easily. The only thing you have to change is some of your eating habits. You don't have to give up all of your favorite foods like some people believe.

I shake all the time. It is not from low blood sugar or anything like that. I have what the doctor says are benign tremors. It is something that I inherited from my grandfather. Evidently it is a pretty common thing because I have spoken to others that are on medication for it.

You haven't given enough information...does the sweet food stop your shaking? What about caffeine? My daughter had some shaking problems because she didn't realize how much caffeine was in Mountain Dew. What else is going on before you start shaking?

Sounds like you might be diabetic - you should get your blood sugar levels checked by a doctor - diabetes can be fatal if left untreated.
