1. Put down the Red Bull - it isn't helping.
2. Apparently you ARE losing sleep over this - otherwise why are you posting this question?
3. I guess, maybe, if you'd been in an ethnic group that gets trampled on all the time, you might get a little cranky too.
4. This post indicates that you have been infiltrated. You may think that you oppose the forces that are working to control you, but you have just accepted those forces and have joined them, now you are one.
Any question?

That is because some of the Muslim's are complete assholes and the Pope was just too nice to tell them that. These guys are fanatics. We have the same God but they think that their prophet Mohammed is about on par with God because they defend him so. If he is so powerful then he certainly doesn't need their help and support because God would allow him certain powers to protect his name. The fact of the matter is that the Pope should stick to his guns and not retract anything that he has said against the wars that have been created in the name of this prophet. It is one thing to honour a person like John the Baptist was more or less a prophet telling of the coming of Christ but to make him bigger than Christ is not correct. The Islamic world has too many degrees of recognition for Mohammed, some say he is a humble prophet other say he is the Great Prophet. Personally I think he was a guy who stole his ideas from another group and then said that they were his ideas, thus you have a differing opinion.

Well, you nailed the answer with the words, "like a little kid." That is a pretty accurate description of most of the Muslim world... or to be fair and politically correct, most of the NON-peaceful Muslim world...

Well, I think forgiveness is supposed to be pretty high on our agenda as Christians.
None of it really makes much difference anyway, does it?

who cares? as far as i can tell, grown men who believe in spooks should not be in charge. they keep poking each other in their deities...
it is not "ok" for any of them to bash each other.

It's not ok. You're right. It's what we call a "double standard."
