To answer 2, I think they're cute but i guess some are scary. You should do a search for them.
I think my favourites are Sybil and Misery.

I don't collect them but my friend does. He has all of them ever made so far. I like Jack The Ripper, Misery, Sybil and a few other.
I like Bleeding Edge Goths also.
