you could be retaining water - do not concentrate on WEIGHT, concentrate on FAT - 1 1/2 to 2 pounds a week is the most you can lose if you're losing fat and maintaining your muscle - you should measure your self instead every week, the tape measure doesn't lie and weigh yourself every other week - that should give you a better idea if you're workout program is working

40 lbs in one year is phenomenal... if not a serious health risk, but if you're healthy, you should be fine in my opinion. Wanting to lose more than 40 will sink you. Be happy with the weight you at at right now. Turn your attention to something else, like balancing bodyshaping, endurance, nutrition, karate, and mousercise. If you don't like mousercise, you can substitute Ty-Bo, but I much prefer Mickey Mouse to Billy Blanks.
Anyway, you've obviously improved your metabolism, so the weight will continue to fall off at a slower rate (think body fat percentages instead of pounds). Last bit of advice: don't do anyting to let people think you're risking your health by overdoing it. If you're an althlete, some people will point their finger from their couch and call you a fanatic all day long en Los Estados!
Oh, that 3 pounds could be muscle, it weighs a lot more than fat. Try swimming now, its harder to tread water when you're skinny. I have a friend who is 7% fat and he has says that if he stops, he sinks.
BTW, You look good! Don't be discouraged.

The answer is simple..... Your gaining muscle. Your losing fat but your gaining muscle. Keep your diet up, eat alot of proteins since you are doing exersise often and keep your exersise schedule. Its obivious that your body already got used to the way you were losing weight and that explains why it has gotten harder for you to lose weight. So its ok. And yes you are sore. But the soreness and the discomfort goes away when you continue to exersise. Let me know how it goes.
Sincerely yours,
Margrte Diana LI Diaz Fley

its really easy to lose some weight fast. but just like with all diets......there comes a point where it does get harder to lose the weight and you have to start doing more things. maybe you gained muscle. and it shouldnt be all about the number. if your clothes fit better and you feel better.....all that matters. scales arent an acurate telling of how much the exercise is helping you

It could be that you are putting on lots of muscle. Muscle weighs twice as much as fat. A lot of people who start an exercise program find that their weight actually increases in the beginning (because fat is being coverted to muscle) but they actually look thinner overall. Funny huh?
Also, you should check how much you eat. It may be that you are not eating enough. The reason for this is that when you don't eat enough, your body thinks it is starving, and it reduces your metabolism to compensate. That's why you fail to lose weight. You should reevaluate how much you are eating - chances are you're not eating enough to keep your metabolism up.

Work in Out is a good thing. It is hard for anybody to lose or gain weight, just like that; and you might be adding little bit of weight, really though you're just starting to get little more muscle. Need to know its muscle, it is more dense more defined. having put a little, it just weights more. you're already looking real good in that picture, I dont think I can even spell it though, whats your name

You may have reached what is known as a "plateau"
Also, if your lifting weights you may be getting more trim.I mean you may be losing fat and gaining muscle.Muscle is more dense than fat , so its heavier. Saying that you feel a little sore may mean that your weight training may be starting to play a role in your work-out.

PSM or Maybe muscle build. Bodies fluctuate weight constantly. Don't freak. You might need to rotate diet plans every once in awhile. If you go to a gym ask them about a dietitian. They can help.
