Well, its always been an unwritten rule that the man is supposed to drive. This went unquestioned until my girlfriend's friend was in the car and asked why my girlfriend never drove. I told her it wasn't a woman's place to be behind the wheel when a man was in the car. Now if there were kids or other women in the car and no man then that would be okay. She asked where I got that from and I told her that is just the way it is. I told her that having your girlfriend drive you around was embarassing and other men would think you were gay or a wimp. She said that wasn't true but I'm pretty sure it is. She said I should let her drive but I told her that sounded unmanly and not only that but the person who drives gets to control the radio station and I don't want my girlfriend controlling what I listen to. She said I was pretty screwed up. Am I wrong here?

So it is ok for you to control what your girlfriend listens to? Dang, she should have left you by now. and yeah you should let her drive if she wants to.

It depends. I usually let my brother drive my car because I really don't like to drive. But if it's her care that you are in- then yeah she can drive. I think it's okay for a man to be a passenger to a woman.

Whose vehicle is it? I drive my car most of the time, and he drives his... but, as a respect to his machismo, I do let him drive when we drive to a date, or out of town. And of course, when I don't know where the hell we are.
