Yes, exercise can help you gain weight. You have to do the right kind of exercise though. Strength training is good for gaining weight, but just about everything else will make you lose weight. If you want to develop thicker legs, here's a list of exercises you can do:
Squats
Lunges
Leg Press
Leg Extension
Leg Curl
Calf Raise
Google any one of them and you'll find websites with charts and pictures that show you how to do the exercises properly. Good luck!

Hi Aris!
You are lucky. Most women would love to have your problem. Answering your question, I will recommend that you do leg exercises, preferably squats. Keep your reps below 12 and work up to doing about three-four sets.
All weight resistance in this rep range will add nice muscle tone to your legs and could make them a little bigger.
If you really just want more weight, a weight gainer from your local GNC is a good option. It will help you take in extra nutritious calories. Just don't over do it and get to a situation where you want to lose weight.
I believe this answers your question, but if not, you may email me.
Good luck on your diet and fitness goals!

You're gonna get more muscular and defined legs if you do stuff like squats, lunges, extensions. If that's all you do you are not going to gain weight and be heavier as it seems you want. You're gonna have to go ona full training regiment and do your total body and gain muscle all over and you will then weigh more (muscle weighs more than fat) but you'll probaly be a size smaller too unless you heavy weights and exercises to bulk up.

You want squats and leg extensions. Probably 3 sets of 10, once a week. And do some kind of leg curls to make sure you keep your hamstrings proportionally strong to your quadriceps.
It's recommended that you have a trained expert show you how to do the exercise correctly so you don't hurt yourself.

Go to your local nutrition store and buy weight gainers and do exercises using the larger muscles of your legs every other day. Talk to a personal trainer at the gym. They should be able to design a custom work out to help you reach your goal.

If you want thinker legs you need to do heavy squats (especially deep), leg press, or lunges. Ideally, you want to use heavy weights and high reps.

I'd say take on the stair master and run. My quads are still pretty big and I am a recovering running addict. But I'm sure the stairs on a deep incline would work well also.
