Ok, Im writing a persuasive paper on whhy gays and lesbians should be able to adopt. But I can't find that much infomation that will tell me if theres goign to be a law. Or if they're trying to get a law. I also wanted to know if anyone knew any good sites that would help my topic and if they ahd any resources that would give me some answers and information!!!! PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!

i think a good reason would be that their parenting skills have nothing to do with who they choose to have a relationship with. i could be in a relationship with a drug dealer or murderer but they wouldnt tell me that i couldnt have a kid with them

I'll give you a few ideas: because they can't have children themselves (unless they use artificial insemination), they can help clear out our orphanages a little bit. The child will grow up more tolerant because they will know that gays and lesbians are normal. Umm I can't think of anymore but good luck! I hope you find some good information.

try going to a university research site, maybe a psychosocial research, you should be able to build some statistical info there, along with some cases to site. as far as law, contact your local government agency and ask them where to find out about what laws are in legislation right now, someone should be able to help you.

there are books on this- I can't think of the title off of my head- but I used it for a paper- it said that studies show gay parents tend to provide more stable households and they adopt more than straight couples.
