I only work 40hrs a week and make $9.00 and hour and I can't get any kind of help. I live pay check to pay check and it puts a strain on my relationship with my fiance because we can never afford to go anywhere or do anything. I don't qualify for finacial aide because I make too much money so I have to come up with $700.00 a semester just to attend school. I have a chronic intestinal disorder and can not afford health insurance but don't qualify for any medical assistance. I guess I don't have a real question except how do people survive? Does life ever get easier. I'm 25 years old and I feel like I have been struggleing my whole life. Does anyone else ever feel this way? PLease don't give me any smart A S S remarks.

they survive just like you are now, paycheck to paycheck. The good news is though because you are getting an education, you will not always be getting paid $9.00 an hour. Depending on what you are majoring in, you have the potential to make a lot more and things will get easier. Hang in there and keep on working hard at your job and school. Your hard work will pay off in the end! Good luck!

Aha! Welcome to America darling. This is the governments way of controlling the population. Think about it. It seems no matter how much money I've made - its never enough and everything increases in price. It almost seems you are better off not making a certain amount of money so you can qualify for help, but what are you gonna do? Unfortunately, the answer to your question is this: thats all they do is survive day to day. it sucks

you know what Honey, that is life....unfortunatly. Do you rent? You have to figure out a budget and see what you can do to save money. For instance, if you have a house phone and a cell phone. Get rid of one. Not everyone needs a cell phone. Be creative! you'll get through it. Try a student loan. Usually you don't pay for them until you graduate. I think that you just pay the interest. That is worth it because in the long run, you will benifit from it. Try www.estudentloan.com

You are caught in that small area where there are so many of us. It is normally that hard to be self sufficient while attending college. Once you get married the double income will help, especially after you finish school. If it all came easy you wouldn't appreciate what you have. And, you wouldn't see just how well off you are campared to 90% of the rest of the world.

Yep, how long have you been at this job? You probably qualify to do something else. Look around for a better gig, that has some health insurance.
