It not a statement for the lazy, it means by throwing your hands in the air, it is out of your control and you don't care anymore. You have heard the saying "I wash my hands of it" well its pretty much the same thing but you are throwing it into the air like you literally don't care. Lmao.

Because putting your hand in the air and waving them around is not something we normally do... and if you are doing this it is like you do not have any inhibitions and are relaxed like you don't care.
