Depends on 4 factors
1.Size of the bump
2. Number of bumps in a given stretch of road
3. Whether I am in hurry
4. My vehicle condition
But usually I try to avoid the roads with bumps

Ah well, c'est la vie. Either way, I tend to try and avoid the buggers. I wouldn't want to ruin my shocks & struts, let alone take the chance on a blow out. In life, it doesn't matter how hard I try to miss those bumps, I always run smack dab over every last one of them at mach speed. Hurts too, but at least I learn from the bruises.

I try to, but sometimes I just cannot avoid them due to other vehicles coming. I don't hardly think anyone would run through them on purpose, but someone like my wife who doesn't pay attention to the road, and seems to hit every one of them is a different story. Have fun!

Naw. bumps in the road are just an opportunity to catch some air. bumpy rides actually make me giggle hysterically.

Real Bumps or Hypthetical Bumps?
Real Bumps I avoid, bad for tires...those hypthetical bumps in life I seem to plow straight into all the time :)

Are we talking about a relationship issue or driving technique?
With driving, it is always good to avoid them when you can. Otherwise you put unneccessary stress on your supension system and tires.
If it is in a relationship, it is good to hit them head on. As long as there are no surprises and a couple is completely honest with themselves, it will make their friendship better in the end.
