My little sis knows a girl who says she got a reductuction surgery and she's 13 and has no boobs to begin with, what doctor would do this to a perfectly heathly little girl? My little sis totally buys this crap...does anyone agree that no doctor would do that?

no they only do those surgeries when a person is over 18 and most generally they are large enough that it causes them other troubles, no doctor would perform the surgery on a girl who is just entering puberty and breasts still have a lot of growing to do, breast reduction surgery causes one to loose feeling in the nipples and takes away the ability to breast feed a decision she is not nearly old enough to make.

NO! absolutely not! 32A on a 13 year old is called growing and she'll probably grow more as she gets older. No doctor in their right mind would do a breast reduction on a 13 year old. Whatever little girl said that doesn't know what she's talking about and is probably a compulsive liar. If she insists on it though, ask to see her scars from her surgery. The new stitching techniques in surgery are pretty good and leave minimal scarring but there is still some noticeable scarring.

There is no way a surgeon would perform this surgery on a 13 year old girl, regardless of her breast size. I would rather believe the girl is just 'pulling your sisters leg'. I certainly don't know how you can convince your little sister that this is not true. Good luck!

The little girl is probably saying this because she is 13 and smaller breasted than some of her friends.It's probably her way of coping with her peer's comments. I'm with you ...no doctor would perform reduction on ANY 13 year old child ...they aren't even finished growing yet.

That doesn't make sense unless there is more to the story and the little girl wasn't healthy when she had surgery or is confused about what the surgery was about.

Any Dr who would do that needs to be turned in to the state board, and the parents need to be turned in to CPS. More likely though, the little girl is probably fibbing just a bit to your sis.

I highly doubt that any dr would do this surgery! Most girls are just entering or are in the middle of puberty, and they need to finish developing first!

No way any doctor would do that. A 12 yr old hasn't even finished developing yet, there would be no point to it. Let alone there is nothing to reduce...
