I have installed a firewire card into my pc. I have used a firewire cable to connect the camcoder but nothing is happening on the screen of the computer. Does anyone know what i should do inorder to play it on the screen of the computer

did u install the software for the camera? did u install the software for the firewire card, eg does it show in the device manager?, if it doesnt detect the camcorder has been detected i would check the manual or contact the maker of the camcorder for further support

did you make sure you installed the driver for the firewire card? just to make sure.
OH, make sure you turn on the camcorder to the right setting too. make sure the camcorder is on. ugh
