i don't think it's bicep nor tricep, but it hurts every autumn. i do the same workout routine all year, nothing more or less during autumn, it just seems to flare up on its own. always the left arm, too. last year, i just worked through it and it eventually got better...this started...two years ago, and i'm getting tired of it :-p any ideas why it happens and what i can do about it? taking rest days right at the onset doesn't seem to change anything. i took off five days when i first noticed the pains, when i usually work the same muscles every day. haha i just opened another can of worms with that ''but mike, you're supposed to give your muscles time to rest! that's why you're sore.'' no. if that's all you got, then click the back button and answer someone else's question :-p i've trained myself to be used to the strain of day after day workouts. they are nothing to me except for this one time of year. why?

not one of you folk have said anything i haven't already thought of. that autumn activities thing was a good idea, like raking leaves, but alas, none of that. no new activities have started this year or any other years. does anyone have any *good* idea on why this happens?

Maybe you are raking a lot of leaves that have fallen (or doing some other seasonal activity).
