I dont know when I will be able to get in wioth the dentist, he is partially reitred and I dont know if I will be switching dentists. Anyway, the gum around the wisdom tooth is sore, and I can feel pressure of it coming in. The funny thing is, it is only that tooth, none of the other wisdom teeth are like this!!! Tylenol is not working for it though, what else can I do?????????

I already have my 12 year molars. They came in when I was nine. My wisdom teeth started coming in when I was 11.

Jen, you're 12 years old. Tell your mom or dad to FIND A DENTIST who can help you! If your wisdom tooth is hurting already, you need an x-ray to find out why.

Otherwise, there are many decent answers for home remedies above and I won't repeat them. Just try them until you find one that works, but do NOT plan on doing this to avoid the dentist. You need to be seen.

IBUPROFEN works on teeth advil and tylenol and aleve for headche and body aches aspirin is good for thinning blood which relieves pressure in the gums as well. BUT NEVER EVER TAKE IBUPROFEN and ASPIRIN within 8 hours of eachother or you may as well call the ambulance. you can take up to 2000 mg of Ibuprofen for your tooth pain without worrying and one tylenol if you want. If you dont have tylenol, or ibuprofen take 250 mg of aspirin

You need to get your parents to take you to a dentist. Bonjela can help and also try Ibuprofen. That is quite young to be getting your wisdom teeth you poor thing.

Excedrin is a bit more powerful and may help.
An Ice pack on the side of your face might help.
Or lay your face on a heating pad, maybe drink some warm water or tea.

It is strange how some hurt a lot and others not at all.

oragel will help....hopefully you have some. Try some motrin or advil, but don't take too many. I have tooth problems and take motrin....it works until I can get it pulled. I feel ya, that is THE WORST PAIN. I hope you find something to ease the pain. Good luck!

Rub orajel on the tooth that's bothering you and take aleve or advil if it doesn't upset your stomach. Make sure you eat something or have a glass of milk before taking the aleve or advil
