Hey I am 14 years old and I was wondering how many piercings are too many? I have my ears double pierced and was just wondering. I only plan to pierce my ears, however maybe when I am 18 I might pierce my belly button (highly unlikely though) What are your thoughts on how many piercings a normal teen girl should have?

Honestly, it is all up to you!! Or your parents. It's not like we walk around telling teenagers, boy or girl, that they can only have two piercings. There are already enough things teens can't do!! What ever you and your parents feel is enough then go with it. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Be true to yourself no matter how different or normal it may be. You make the decision, it is your life!!

Why would you want to consider putting more holes in your head?
Two are enough - any more than that will look rediculous and trashy. A larger earring in the lower hole, and a smaller - single matching stud in the upper hole are attractive and feminine.
On an occasion - rather than cartiledge piercing - try applying magnetic earrings? This way you can wear the 'look' when it suits you.
And, I'm sure you have heard from others who have done it - the further up the ear cartiledge you pierce, the more it hurts, and the longer it takes to heal.

Ears 2-3, but I would hold off on anything else until 20. Just from personal experience. I pierced my nose when I was 16 and wish now that I hadn't.

I say 1 more Double on your ears , then back off. Dont want too many .. it can affect you later on down the road.
IF my Daughter was your age an wanted 3 holes in each ear .. i would let her , i dont see much wrong with Ears being pierced !

It all depends what your idea of normal is.....I dont think getting your belly button pierced would be overkill. Everybody is different, do what you feel comfortable with.

Just don't EVER pierce your face...you'll regret it when you grow up and are too old to have facial piercings and it'll look gross with old piercing holes in your face!

What ever makes you happy... Just remember people often judge excess so keep that in mind when you are ready to start looking for a job or boyfriend etc... Good luck...

i think you have a good amount, too many piercings may be something you regret later in life.
