This information is confidential. They have no right to ask you about antidepressants. It's part of the Health Information Patient Protection Administration Law. And No they are not testing for Antidepressants. Those lab tests are designed specifically for illegal drugs.

It probably won't show up. You do not have to tell them. Your medical information is private. If it did show up, and they said anything, then you would just have to show them that it's a legitimate medication you take prescribed by a doctor. But I wouldn't even mention it. They will probably just use a basic test that only checks for the major illegal drugs.

I've had to take drug tests for work before when I was on an anti and it didn't show up. You don't have to tell them. It's really none of their business.
And I don't know where you live but if they don't hire you based on you taking anti-depressants then that's discrimination.

I don't think so, but it might. It's not an illegal drug & shouldn't be a big deal. Honesty is always best. If they don't want you because of that, maybe you're going for the wrong job.

Yes you have to tell them. I have been called out on my drugs for several jobs, like I was some kind of criminal. As soon as they find out why, comes another barrage of questions and accusations, and "why don't you just go on unemployment?"
