Yes! I made the mistake of answering a question in Religion and Spirituality. OMG! I got an e-mail to beat all e-mails! Calling me every name there is, including Satan! They also posted on my 360! It wasnt just one either! Many nasty e-mails! Then the trying to save my soul e-mails! It almost made me cancel my 360 and start over! but I just quit taking E-mails and set my 360 on friends only for awhile and then it stopped! Pretty freaky though!
Oh yeah, I also got hate mail cuz I said I like Green Day! This one person felt it necessary to e-mail me and tell me I'm full of ****! Can you believe it!

Heck yes, several times. Disagreements over politics and religion, I am not religious, and am a flamin Liberal, also, the time I really got chewed out, I asked if anyone else went to homework help and just guessed at the answers. I thought it was funny but I think a lot of high schoolers were offended. Hey, they shouldn't believe everything they read here.
That was a great question by the way and a lot of fun to answer. Don't get offended if you get ugly mail. The offended people will take more time to write a hate note than the rest of us who aren't offended and easy going.

A while back somebody did not like how I responded to a question and emailed me with all kinds of hate filled rhetoric because I happen to believe differently from them. I wish I could remember the details. The way they acted though was childish and immature in my opinion.

I think everyone has & that I just do not understand. Some people come on here asking some of the most persoanl questions and when you give your answer(opinion in some cases) to them they just go nuts! If these certian people do not like the response(s) they get, then they should not even ask their question. That is just the way I see it.

I have been cussed at for asking "is the crack baby dead"
It was just a tag line trying to get attention to the real question?
I wondered if there was any real child disease from being a crack baby and if not...why stick them with the stigma of being a crack baby.
Thus the term "crack baby" should be dead.
If you ask a serious Q ..then you will not get any A
But if you ask a stupid Q and try to get people into a serious discussion all you get is trash talked.
it fairly frustrating to try to bring up serious topics...so I guess let it go and have fun.
thanks for listening

Yes someone asked a uneducated and racist question. I "educated her and explained why it was not a good idea to make judgments on a persons appearance, race or religion. They funny thing is he vile response was copied and pasted to everyone who disagreed with her question. So I guess I WAS right about her being an uneducated git!

I have had some negative answers come back at me...but I just don't let it get to me. I guess it comes with the nature of my profession. I listen to creative criticism, but if someone is obtuse in their feedback. (ie It sucks) I really have nothing to go by or improve off of that. So, in those instances I let him or her know that "you know, if this is all you have to say then I really don't value your opinion at all." After years of this...you get used to who's opinion you can trust and count on...and the rest are just critics. : )
Hope this helps. ; )

Oh heck yes. I seem to rub a lot of people the wrong way. Mostly the younger ones. I was somewhat condescending to their choice of music.
