Everyone here knows that if right-wingers respond to a question, they all say the same thing.

Then, as if by psychic connection, they show up together at another question, suggesting they share the same ideas about the relative importance of the various issues.

In contrast, liberals and democrats do not have a consensus view on anything.

Liberals don’t do the herd behavior thing very well. Most never give the Democratic Party a second thought (not the way Republicans think it so cool to be a member of their monster nerd fraternity).

The Democratic Party cannot issue talking points like conservative organizations because no one cares or pays attention.

Republicans however, all listen to the mandated talking points and repeat them almost word for word. If Rush or Sean says something, you know that in less than 24 hours they will all be saying it here.

Why bother expressing an idea or opinion IF IT”S NOT YOUR OWN?

The spreading of lies amd misinformation in an interesting and often mentioned point.

I think that if some set of information originates from a finite source and is disseminated in some formal manner to a lot of people, intentionally spreading bad information might not be that hard for someone in the right position.

On the other hand, a noisy sytem (say Democratic, for example) probably has more random screw-ups, but getting the same bad info to as many people would be more difficult.

Michael Moore is good point. Name someone who thinks he represents anyone's point of view - let alone any group of people.

Having actually seen him, I'll brighten your day with my review. This is what I thought: lazy. His one and only message is : Hey, look at me I'm Michael Moore and I'm getting paid to stand here. He had/has no message beyond self-promotion II think he and Coulter are the same person - Has anyone ever seen them together?

The Moore argument is pitiful because you
show that, since Roger and Me anyway, that he ahas had any influence on anyone.

Colorado -
Yes you can, if one tells the other what to do - like Bush aand Cheney

oklatom-
Are you a creationist? I think I've seen that kind of bogus argument before.

FYI- I'm no Democrat
I say a POX on both you corrupt houses. And, take away the name calling - where's the difference - about as far as Bill Clinton sits from Bush's Sr and Jr when there laughing it up, because they're all friends and you are engaged in an imaginary political struggle that only amuses them.

Here's a quiz. First for the right: You and Clinton are in a burning biulding when Bush walks by. He can only save one. Who does he save?

Answer: You are toast.

For the left: Just reverse the roles of Bush and Clinton - you are toast also.

They don't care about you. They have personal and Party power and money games to play,

Republicans/Cons are natural followers.

They are told what and how to think from birth, like their religion, for example. They're not really allowed to question their religion or anything else that they've been told so they just accept it. They're not much more than zombies.

The reason Liberals always have different and unique views is because we are free-thinking and open-minded. We are not zombies who all have to be on the same page.

Do we all respond exactly the same way? Then as a conservative Republican, you would assume that I would be pro life. However, you would be WRONG! I am a conservative, Republican, Catholic who is pro choice! Now, as a liberal democrat, I'm sure you can explain that away or ignore it since we all know that anything that does not fit into your idea of the truth, doesn't really exist.

You think you don't "do the herd behavior very well." You are not giving yourself enough credit. You people do it extremely well! Whereas, conservatives might appear to you to be say Holsteins liberals are Jersey cows. Different types but the same herd behavior.

Let me explain very clearly why liberals do not have a consensus view on anything. If you take two entirely insane and angry crazy people, you are extremely unlikely to get them both to say the same thing.

Many people do not realize that Jesus was not of the "Left", nor of the "Right". He did say to not let the left hand know what the right hand is doing - - this is a clear signal for me to stay out of politics (me - personally that is ).

If you were to ask "What color is the sky?" and everyone answered blue...would that also show herd mentality and we had all been coached, or would it be because we know certain things?

We republicans, as cows...only need to meander around the farm long enough for you "Liberals" to hap-hazardly STEP IN IT, as you just have.

Ah, yes. And both Republicans and Cows hasten global warming. Cows by farting, and republicans in politics.

i dunno if i would liken them to cows...but...
definitely they always seem to chant the same views over and over. exceptions are John McCain, Colin Powell, John Warner, and more. thank god for those people who are opening their eyes.
at least democrats and liberals use their brain, and research the facts to form their own opinion.
