Because they think they're funny making fun of everyone who
doesn't agree with them.
Also, because they don't understand science or sex, so
they make fun to compensate for a lack of education
and/or research.
They are doing the terrorists work by dividing us & are too
stupid to realize it.
It's disturbing.

Because the conservative and rich and corporations own almost all the media.
When someone like Rupert Murdock owns over 60 stations, he will get his views heard in the hopes of gaining more support for his party as it is the one giving him and them all the corporate welfare (costing about $4000 a year per person, but no one cares about giving billions to greedy, job exporting, environment polluting, record breaking profit corporation while they are spewing their hateful venom galore on the mother trying to raise fatherless kids alone)
The solution is to do what I do, turn off the TV, get your information on the Internet which is a source of free exchange of information, so far not totally propagandized. Picket stations, tell them why you do not watch, and most importantly call their advertisers, tell them you are not buying their products and why.
TURN OFF THE TV. You can live without it..I didn't watch for 15 years and when I started again, I only watch a few select hours a week. I read a lot..you and your kids will be better off.

The Conservative Corporations have bought most of the media and want the news to lean to the right . There are not many networks that can speak freely , because of their corporate bosses
