Democratic political strategys is hampered by the uncontrollable desire that liberals have to be honest.
Ok, who am I fooling?
The Dems suck at smear politics. I think they'd LIKE to be as mean and nasty as Republicans. They'd love to twist Republican ideas into ridiculous little phrases. (thinking of the way Reps call Dems "cut and run liberals" and the like)
But they just aren't as good at hatred and deciet as Republicans are.

Because unlike Clinton, "daddy" Bush did stand up to Iraq. Meantime, as soon as he got into office, Clinton started getting sucked under the desk by interns instead of running the country.
