There are very rich, very greedy people who have agendas that transcend allegience to any country. Their goal is power and more power. They are not above using whatever means necessary, including killing innocent people by the thousands, to get what they want. And believe it or not, they are convinced they have the God given right to pursue their madness because they have the means to do so.
