According to the media, they are putting headlines such as "Bush fights GOP revolt" and "Bush fights rebellion over Terror act". First if we disagree we are terrorists, then we were appeasing nazis and now we are a rebellion and not in a good way.

When I was in the Military, the Geneva Convention Act was preached to us and we were told to always abide by it. Why is it different now?

Bush really stepped in it this time. No matter what happens, now any nation we happen to go to war with is going to start looking at the Geneva convention as something to be toyed with.

A REBEL has no source of power or thought of his own. (S)He is simply rebelling against what (s)he perceives as an authority. I think what you are trying to say is you are a free thinker. I don't agree with your conclusion.

Once we took out Saddam the question stopped being is he good or bad, but how long will it take to win the peace. If the Iraqis want the US & the coilition out they have too agree to be peacefull for about a year. The coilition would break up & go home. The if the people in Iraq still wanted to have their civil war they could. None of the particpants could return in time.

I oppose and yes I'm a rebel. No I am not a terrorist. I am the mother of a solider who has done two tours in Afghanistan and on his third in Iraq. The Geneva convention should always be followed to the letter. We have always said those who don't are barbarians. I am definitely not a Nazi.

You're not a rebel.... He is commissioned to an office. He's good at his job at that too. However, that doesn't and CAN NEVER make you a rebel by disagreeing with the President's proposal on a policy issue.....

If you disagree with Bush & his politics you are automatically labeled unpatriotic & a rebel.

I really thought I still lived in a country where disagreeing was allowed......I guess I was mistaken.

If you oppose Bush, it just means you love freedom, justice, and your fellow man more than you love the United States.

In other words, you are a TRUE patriot, rather than a simple unthinking Nationalist.

That seems to be the size of things in this insane argument. Who would ever have imagined that Americans would be debasing themselves arguing over the justifications for torture....how completely insane is that???

We have really lost our minds in this country.

Try and remember, I know, its hard and your head might hurt.
We are fighting a war, we didn't start, they behead our people
they burn them alive, they drag their bodies in the streets, you still with me. Now on the other hand you have fools, who are
worried we might offend them, or their religion, wanting to give
them rights , like a US citizen. Screw them and their religion
The only rights they have, are to be.put out ,out of our misery.
