Democrats created and enforced Jim Crow from 1877 until the mid 1960s. Democrat governors stood in school doorways, blocking Blacks from entering even after the Supreme Court told them they didn't have to settle for separate any longer. Remember that ole favorite from the Democrat governor of Alabama, "Segregation now, segregation tomorrow, segregation forever." It was a Republican President who had to send in troops to protect these people, including children, when they exercised their rights and received death threats and were called the N word as they walked to school. All Democrats!
Let us not forget that it was a Democrat President that got us into Korea and a Democrat President that got us into Viet Nam and Democrat who escalated the fighting.
Liberals feel sorry for terrorists, and criminals of every description and think they deserve a tenth and eleventh and twelfth chance. Liberal Democrats pretend to be for the people and easily point fingers, but no criminal or any other undesirables better move into their neighborhood.
Keep waving that flag and some liberal Democrat will believe it. We Republicans no better.

Very good point you bring out here. I'll tell you one thing though, the Democrats are not much, if any better. In fact they're all in it together. Few people understand or realize that this world is run by a very evil and secretive group of super rich, super powerful royal blooded people collectively known as the Illuminati. It seems they have a plan to start world war 3, which will involve nuclear weapons, reduce world population by no less than 2/3, and set up a New World Order cashless society, fascist police state dictatorship. People vote Republican because around election time, the Republicans suddenly become good "Christians" and convince voters that they have Christian morals and are working for the people. After the election is over, they go back to their corrupt ways.
If you noticed in 2000 and in 2004 there were many problems with the counting and results and voting machines and voters being turned away. They've taken to rigging the elections.

BTW, there is nothing anyone can do about stupid, these types will always be stupid. These types never check anything out and find the facts. Even if they did they would not understand the facts they found. Most Republicans will ask someone to do the research for them and think Bush and Rush are very close to GOD on the truth.

well, the fact that many many people still are voting republican
and, the fact that many many of these people are more educated and have higher IQ's than you do
and the fact that many many of these republican voting smart educated people are decicated patriots who have sacrificed much for their country
seems to prove that it isn't as simple as a condescending simpleton like you sees it
the biggest shame is on anyone who fails to look at each issue and apply their knowledge, experience, and ethical system to evaluate it (who instead use terms like "democrat" or "liberal" to describe what will automatically be good and right no matter what comes up)
the second biggest shame is people who think they are so smart or righteous or whatever, that the opinions of others are stupid and without merit

They're the majority. That means power and control. As long as they hold majority, they will always have power and control. Afterall, that power comes from control over the masses. But what if the masses who disagree actually DID something? It's amazing- we impeach a Democrat prez for a personal action, yet we won't impeach a Republican one for not doing their job- Protecting us.
