1. You say women 'gripe' about it.. if the shoe was on the other foot, you wouldn't?
2. We just in the past 100 years, have entered the realm of an industrialized world where women can work out of the home. Before this, men worked in labor jobs.. in the field etc...
3. Women gained the right to vote less than 100 years ago.
4. Women were banned from most colleges until after WW2.
We can't snap our finger as a society and change things overnight.
PS When a man is called 'bitchy' it is considered a good assertive quality. When we are, we are called bitches. Think about that.
When I bring stuff like this up to males, they whine but when I throw back at them some bad male qualities they get upset. Men are a lot more sensitive than women. I wish I could turn the tables and let men feel oppression.. men wouldn't last a week before whining and bitching so much that we had to exterminate them.

But....we're still a male dominated society even though there are more women now than men. All it will take will be for the right woman to come along, but the problem is that women tend to be fearful of other women who are strong. Dumb! And, politics is still a good old boys game run by the power elite. Its time for a woman president and I wouldn't object as long as its not Condoleeza Rice.

I don't gripe about that. Your statement that we have as much opportunity as men is false though. At least when speaking of the political arena. For example, instead of talking about Condoleeza's work, everyone is wondering if she is having a fling. We need to take female politicians more seriously.

I dont know. I honestly think its a recipe for disaster to have a woman in office. A woman with ultimate power is never EVER a good idea.
Behind every good president is a wife who is his personal confidant, and voice of guidance. Women work best behind the scenes.
We're the ultimate pupets masters, not the dummies themselves.
Womens rights, not lib. I dont want to be a man, i dont want to be better than a man. I just want to be equal. But in my book, equal will never include a woman president.
its just dangerous.

I'm not griping. When we get a credible candidate then I will vote for her. But I won't vote for anyone just because of the their race or sex. That's a very irresponsible way to choose a leader.

Ah duh, because there hasn't ever been one. You would think that women represent what say 45 % of the population and there has never been one woman VP let alone President. I think they have a legitimate gripe and let's face it the guys haven't exactly been the best.
