As a smoker and having a Nagy bf I completely understand..tell him that this is a part of you that marriage you have to except and when the times right you will quit but try to be a lil considerate and don't smoke around him or not so often tell him you don't plan on stopping and his nagging is making you uncomfortable but remember he s nagging because he loves you : )

tell him that if he keeps nagging you about it you will continue to do so as a releif from him nagging you or you come how turn him into a smoker otherwise I don't think it is just the smoking that he is wanting to complain about,well that is he married you after knowing that yo smoked or possibly he really loves you and dosen't want to lose you to early in life due to this.Maybe find something to pick on him about aswell but still that won't fix it so there are some tips for you and good luck.

Allan Carr Easy Way to Quit Smoking....it works great...I smoked for 35+ years and I have been quit 2 1/2 years.....feel great and getting on with life now........You get the book $10 dollars and read at your leisure until you are finished the book....oh and you smoke the whole time you are reading, took me two weeks to read it and it is a short book.

How about you just stop smoking and then he won't be nagging you anymore. And he really isn't nagging you he is trying to help you!

If he did not nag you you would not know how much he loves you. Sounds like he wants to keep you around for a while. Tell him all his harping is detrimental to your quitting.

Explain to him that the more pressure he lays on, the more resistant you are to change. It's human nature to push back when pushed. Once he realizes that, and the fact that he's not helping, he should back off and let you go at your own pace.
Nagging doesn't help with anything.

He is only nagging you because he loves you, and he doesn't want to see anything bad happen to you... How bad would he feel if he never said a word, and you ended up with lung cancer? Be glad he cares about you.

I ask my hubby to quit because I don't like to kiss an ashtray. Its also too expensive. If you quit, he'll stop nagging.
