I wonder without a bunch of laws would we have bands of roaming criminals taking from others and without the threat of heaven hell to reward good behavior with would we have more deaths and crime . Would we eventually come to the reality that we all need government s and a police force to control the people or have chaos .
IF so how much freedom do we really need .Just enough so that smart well educated people can work others for years and allow them just enough freedom to continue to work and survive or go to jail .
Just what is mankind after all .A bunch of animals that unless caged would gather in packs and kill others .Or unless made so fearfull that they believe in A God who will grant them entrance to heaven if they follow the rules .JUST what is it that will make us seek peace and learn to get along.
LOOKS like for around 78 years or so on average we will argue just this point .Who and what are we .I think evil animals who must be broken before they become usefull to society.

what is evil?

there is no such thing as "evil" and therefore it has no root cause. if i steal a loaf of bread, am i evil? how about if i was starving? or if my child was starving? or, if some stranger told me he was starving but lied to me?

the trouble with man is, he is never satisfied. i can look around at this moment and count millions of blessings that i no longer value, simply because they come so easily. once it was enough to be warm, then it was enough to be safe, now it's not enough, never enough, sooner faster smarter now!

but we are not evil for it. it is a curse to be always so hungry, but it is also a blessing. we ate from the tree of knowledge and terrified ourselves with our own abilities, and we will continue to do so on into infinity.

religion and politics are two sides of the same coin. they are groupings, systems of hierarchies with which we sculpt the future and the world. man on his own may be evil or good, and therefore so are all of our creations. which means we should scrutinize all of them, forever, lest they get beyond our tiny abilities... and keep the ones that spread joy and beauty. the ones that seem to result in death and destruction do not serve us.

i might want to assert that, as for faith, it relies upon on which one. And as for Politics, i might want to assert no......it relies upon on the newborn-kisser. Neither of them can qualify because the "root" of ALL evil, regardless of the reality that both considered one of them can actually feed into evil. The "root" is the part of the plant that feeds with a view to make stronger. What does evil "feed" off of? it really is an insatiable "favor" for further of something that motives evil to make stronger.

Religion and politics allow evil to be organized and categorized.

Without them, we'd just have random disorganized individual evil.
