I don't think so. But I do think that they have an overly high opinion of their own education. They earn a few college credits, read Howard Zinn's history books, and presume to know everything there is to know. They form opinions based on their depthless education, and resolutely avoid learning anything new that might challenge their Mickey Mouse views.

In short, they only become educated enough to confirm what they want to believe, and then they use that bit of education to tower over others who don't share their views.

Apparently some of these liberals answering here are not simply uneducated, but lacking in comprehension skills. I didn't say libs were uneducated, I said they have too high an opinion of their education. They believe that having a degree in psychology or something gives them a license to pass down their pronouncements on every subject imaginable, whether they have expertise in that area or not.

Yes, I am aware that 75% of professors are liberals, but that tends to prove my point than otherwise. Do you really expect me to believe that all these professors are experts in public choice theory, or economics, or any other body of knowledge that deals with how government actually works? That they all believe that government is the solution to everything tells me that indeed they are quite ignorant of the subjects on which they are most fond of pontificating.

Doubtless some of them do have too high an opinion of their own education; as do some conservatives; as does everybody else.

Nobody can grasp all the world.

And no educational system can produce uniformity. Even totalitarian systems of indoctrination cannot produce uniformity of thought, even when all those indoctrinated try to stick with the system.

And we are not all the same to start with.

So somebody might have the same education as you--and I mean you,--and be a liberal.

But the comment about Howard Zinn is kinda funny.

That is not a question, that is a statement of your beliefs. I am a well educated professional who is also a liberal. I am one because I believe the job of government is to serve the citizens--not just the rich ones either. I also see that other countries wiht liberal leaning governments like Sweden have a far higher standard of living than we do, as well as a much lower crime rate.

If that's what you believe you aren't that intelligent.

Discerning through your incohesive rant, you've found most people at colleges are liberals. I think something like 75% of professors self identify as liberals also. Doesn't that kind of point to the direct opposite of what you are trying to say? Liberals aren't uneducated at all?

Most of the problems in post invasion Iraq were due to Bush Administration not listening to any views but those that confirmed their own erroneous theories.

liberals are very closely in tune with bush's foreign policy. even republicans such as john mccain and colin powell are now speaking out against the president. if you understand how much the president lies and how many times he has broken the constitution maybe you wouldn't support him either. what is there to argue? bush isn't an ethical man. that is not even an opinion for god's sake. that's a fact.

maybe that will help to prove my point...

I think unless you personally know the educational background of ALL liberals you're "uneducated" to make this claim.
