I slightly disagree with the above answers.
I think she's not really bothered too much about you because she has her eye on someone else, however, she's playing a game and your 'back up date' in case it falls through.
In your little text story above, just try and insert a few texts to her from the other guy, you'll see what i mean below.

Pretty obvious really. She doesn't fancy you and doesn't REALLY want to go out even as friends for some reason. Maybe she's confused about this other guy as she says she has got her eye on someone but not whether they are interested in her? But if she's only just split with him, it seems a bit fast to be looking at someone else, or maybe her last BF wasn't a serious relationship? That's my opinion anyway. Best thing you can do is ASK her and good luck.

I think most of us on here have come to the same conclusion sugar, i dont think she is interested in u in the way u'd like her to be, if you keep texting her she'll either end up ignoring you or getting pissed off at you. I'd just leave well alone and just get on with your life and have some fun, it's easier said than done when you really like someone, but, i think, in this case its the best plan of action. Good Luck

She only wants to be friends with you and nothing more. She does have her eyes on someone but that someone is not you or else she would have made plans with you for the tea, but she didn't, she waited for plans to arise that suited her better in what she wants and who she wants to get close to. I am sorry, but for her, friendship with you is all that is there at this point. Find yourself another girl to get to know, this one is looking elsewhere. Blessed be.......
