No, Islam needs to get over itself. Look how well America handles ever imaginable insult from just about every country in the world. Christianity handles the constant insults pretty well to. The Pope quoted a true historical figure and I have to agree the Prophet Muhammad has only brought " evil and inhuman things". Maybe they need a new prophet to set them straight, they sure have a funny way of proving they are the religion of peace. I think the Quakers win the religion of peace award, maybe we can convert Muslims to be Quakers. Hmmmmmmmmm.

Read this article and judge for yourself

VATICAN CITY (Reuters) - Al Qaeda militants in Iraq vowed war on "worshippers of the cross" and protesters burned a papal effigy on Monday over Pope Benedict's comments on Islam, while Western churchmen and statesmen tried to calm passions.

The statement by an umbrella group led by Iraq's branch of al Qaeda came after the Pontiff said on Sunday he was deeply sorry Muslims had been offended by his use of a medieval quotation on Islam and holy war.

"We tell the worshipper of the cross (the Pope) that you and the West will be defeated, as is the case in Iraq, Afghanistan, Chechnya," said a Web statement by the Mujahideen Shura Council.

"We shall break the cross and spill the wine ... God will (help) Muslims to conquer Rome ... (May) God enable us to slit their throats, and make their money and descendants the bounty of the mujahideen," said the statement, posted on Sunday on an Internet site often used by al Qaeda and other militant groups.

Nazi Pope Benedict The 16th was ordered to apologize otherwise...!
Nazi Pope got a very selective memory. He seems to have forgotten that those who killed over 250.000 Muslims many of them boys under 11 years of age are Christians .
Those who are killing Iraqis , and Afghans are Christians.\
And those who are skinning people alive in Chechnya are Christians And those who are killing Muslims for over 60 years are Jews.

Our Nazi Pope got indeed a very selective memory.

no he's wrong.. Islam and Christianty are somehow alike. I think he went way out of line to say what he did. I am a muslim myself and believe me there's nothing in our religion that says we should cause evil for others or whatever he said. I know for a fact that the Koran says we should all live like brothers and sisters in God's creation. whatever bad things muslims are doing these days under the name of "Islam" is wrong and uncited for. Real Muslims want to live in peace and harmony with all the others.

No. He sounded absolutely sensible. As a matter of fact, he dissed us worst than the Muslims.
