Well, she's insane so that always makes things interesting. Mostly she just preys on the hate that slightly more moderate conservatives drum up against liberals. For the most part her information is a combination of lies, assumptions and factually incorrect statements.
Don't get me wrong this happens on the liberal side also with people far to the left, though I wouldn't put Franken in the same category; most of his information is actually based on facts.

If Ann Coulter is a right wing nut case that should have her opinion written off, under that logic so should Franken's, he is as just big a nut, but in the left wing direction.

Because some people agree with her, some think she represents them partially and the rest are anturally attracted to the dramatic. She is very dramatic, oftimes outrageous, bold belligerent. There are alot of people in thsi country ewho fit that bill. No humility. Extremists of their own kind.

Thanks for the link. I enjoyed reading that. As for the question, I'm not entirely sure. I thought about getting one of her books on tape, but as I picked it up, I realized that I would be giving her money for being so vile, further encouraging her. I put it back on the shelf.
