I don't know about Illinois but I went to three different boarding schools in Utah for troubled teenagers. It's like an inpatient treatment facility but it's a school.

Good Luck. I tried (in PA) and they are far and few between. Start with your State Dept of Welfare and your State Dept of Mental Health. Most schools anymore are for addictions and we didn't have that problem. Our problem was lack of remorse, disrespectful attitude, etc. She is still a problem for us, but she is undergoing counseling - at 15.....Also check out Dr Phils web site. He has links to several places that may be able you, but I have only found them in the west and mid-west.
