Is there a desperate need to tell him? If it is with the hopes there might be some sort of relationship with him, then consider a couple of points. First of all friendship is always based on some sort of attraction i.e being a mutual attraction. However there is also a 'comfort zone' that every relationship has, when you break outside of that you taking a risk with the relationship. If you think that is a risk worth taking then go ahead, unburden yourself, but be prepared for the consequences of that. If not then let the friendship run it's course and who knows maybe things will 'straighten' themselves out in their own time.

Well, there was a girl I went to school with who was a lesbian. And the way she told me was, we were hanging out at her house and she happened to have some magazines that were gay-themed. When I asked her about it, she had to tell me. So, my advise would be to invite him over and have some obvious items that will let him know about your sexuality. Then, I'm sure he'll disclose his sexuality. Good luck!

just tell him straight out. The you'll know if he's really your friend. There is no easy way to say it.

Just tell him. The worse thing he can do is say no thanks. The best thing would be to give you a big french kiss and massage your little guy.
