I was just wondering if anyone has ever stayed with the person that cheated on you. and if you have, what happened? has that person stayed faithful or did they do it again?

Not myself..But went throught it with a freind..Her husband cheated she cought him and since they have 2 children 2gether she decided to stay. They went to counseling and now everything is fine. I think that some men get a little carried away when anothere woman comes on to them. I beleive that just because a man strayed once doesnt mean hell do it again..mistakes do happen..

I agree w/ answer #1. When someone cheats they are well aware of what they are doing, ya people make mistakes but this is not a mistake that just happens. I think no matter what, you say you might forgive and hey believe it or not, some people really do try to forgive the cheater, but that fear will be in you for ever and ever,...I have never been cheated on (knock on wood) but I've been lied to and I can only imagine how being cheated on feels.. So I think if a person really wants to forgive a cheater then they have a lot coming thier way..

I stayed in a relationship with a man that had cheated on me. Although he promised that it wouldnt happen again, I found myself following him and always drilling him so after about a month of acting like Harriet the spy I dropped him.
I loved him and still do but I couldnt stand the way that I'd began to act so instead of putting myself through that I ended things.

No I wouldn't stay with anyone who cheated on me. They knew what they were doing would hurt me and they choose to do it anyway? No I wouldn't give them the chance to hurt or reject me again. Once a cheat always a cheat

i've got confidence so. i think of an affair is worse than cheating, meaning a one time stupid mistake. have been they caught? It relies upon on despite if or no longer the spouse is prepared to look any incorrect way and vice versa. assorted people have that style of a project going and it is positive.

my wife did and no I haven't again. Sometimes people get confused when they have a good thing and misuse the trust and bond they have with their spouse. For some they learn from their mistakes and others don't until it's to late.

yes. other complications arised and i dumped him. but i learned he cheated on me after i dumped, him.
once they cheat, they will do it again. if they really love and care for the girl they wouldn't dare cheat on her to begin with.
there is no excuse for cheating......and you heard it before.....once a cheater, always a cheater.
