Okay there is this boy I like and he is so cute and sweet. Anyways, today in geometry I sat by him and he kept looking at me during class. Before when he sat behind me he always smiled and talked to me when we worked in groups and there were other guys there he could have talk to. He would smile and laugh when I was around, but when other girls talk to him he keeps a straight face most of the time. Do you think he likes me?

Definite yes, being of the male gender this is one of the only ways we know of to show affection. Smiling, talking in a slower less deep manly voice than when talking to his friends or if you notice other girls is also a good sign. Life is about taking risks and even if your not sure take it because if you don't, you will never know. Don't be afraid of being hurt because that is just a part of the learning process. In your case it sounds like you wont.

Yes I believe he is interested for sure. Me being a guy who does the same thing I think you should talk to him a little more and maybe show a little more interest in him. Most guys are shy and sometimes sit back and can't make that first move if you want to go for it he should come around after some initial contact from you
