at break, i was making myself a cup of coffee, he came in and pocked my waist, then he talked to me. At lunch, i was eating in the dining room, and he keeps on coming in and out, around 5 times and didnt really do anything, just talked to me. Everytime he comes in, he just talks to me.

Depends upon the context. The guy / girl in the fish and chip shop may smile and be nice, but will probably be emotionally detached, just doing their job. If you meet someone at a party, their interest or lack of interest in you will tell you a great deal about how they feel about you. Presumably, you like someone and want to know if they like you back. It's very easy, actually. Do they take an interest in you? Do they ask you questions about yourself, your work? If you've met someone you really like, and they don't ask you questions about yourself, chances are they are not too interested. But you MUST differentiate between someone being attracted to you, and someone liking you. I'm a very ordinary, heterosexual fellow, and I genuinely like my manager. But I wouldn't invite him round for dinner...

If they are trying to get into your life more and more by wanting to talk, or hang out, or even go to the same places. Flirting, but that doesn't mean much sometimes. If you always seem to get physical contact. If they don't like you, then they probably give you weird looks and try to avoid you.

They will copy the way you act.

Example, you scratch your ear, so do they.

Body language is all it is and it also means people want to be like you if they copy you.

I take great delight when talking to my supposed superiors at work by changing the way i stand/lean/sit etc when they copy me.

Watch them, they will follow your lead for hours!!

Body language, great fun!!

Otherwise you are going to have to ask.
