My fiance has my name in a gliff on his back and everyone thinks it is bad luck. I love it, when we have kids he wants to add to it.
What do you think.

I think it is generally a bad idea. But if he feels confident you will always be together, and I hope you will, then it's cool.

It's a lovely thing to do when you are in love and even better if you are married. You show the other person how much you care for them to the point where you mark there name on your body. However, it things would ever go bad, your stuck, hating the person and the name on you is only a reminder. It's not too bad, you could always cover it up with another tat.

Names are not bad luck, just reminders of different times. You did not do it to your body, so you really do not need to worry. Just think how many stupid people run off and get married before they should. And, at least if it does not work out between you, a cover up tat is cheaper than divorce.

Very Bad idea. Tatts are great I have them..But no names. Kids yeah but not boyfriends or hubbys. Not cool. That may come and go then you are left with that on you.

With the new Laser technology it's okay to get it removed if for some reason things don't work out in a few years!

having your kids name is all right because they will always be your kids but can u guarantee that ur bf will always be your spouse-it hurts like hell to remove or you just have to get an even bigger tattoo to cover up the old one(if/when you two ever breakup)

tattoos are permanent, the only name I would ever get on me would be my daughters name! She will always be my daughter. I want to hope that my husband and I stay together forever, but you never know~

I think the only persons name you should put on your body is your children. Boyfriends and husbands, girlfriends and wives come and go but your children are yours 4-ever.

I don't think that it is very smart to get names tattooed on your body, no matter who's name it is. Because you just never know.

i dont think its the best idea.. i think the only names to put onyour bosy should be your kids or your loves ones that past away... i think it jeenks it,,.. lets just hope u prove this one wrong... good luck!
