The "real life story" is this.......when two people have sex(under any circumstances) and she becomes pregnant the end result will be a baby unless she has a miscarriage or an abortion. The point being is that life begins at conception no ifs ands or buts. Just because the life were talking about is not a fully developed person means nothing. When a woman gives birth to a baby it is not fully developed either nor is it when it is a year old and so on but we don't say it's not a human being. Anyway when you start from that perspective it's easier to understand that the taking of that Innocent life by abortion can only be murder. Evan in the case of rape or incest you don't murder an innocent child in order to punish a rapist nor wil murdering an Innocent child ever erase this horrible act from a woman's mind. Just think about it.....as horrible as rape or incest is and as hard as it would be for a woman to give birth to that child is murdering the child the answer? Who knows what great and wonderful people those murdered children might have grown up to be. But regardless of who they eventually turn out to be we cant kill them because we don't like how they got here or what they "might " turn out to be or what problems they "might" have in life later on because that's up to us.

Hi well where do we start, if the baby is going to suffer in a later life and the mother nows this and has the option to not have the baby then i suppose its in the best interest of her unborn child and what it will suffer if they are born. Im not utterly against it but i dont really agree with it, new studies have shown that a baby has hands and feet after only months of being concieved or something like that after seeing this on the telly i was gobsmacked as i have been told that it was just a cell and nothing more, but it isnt it is actually the beginning of a human. I believe that every life form deserves a chance and if a person who is having sex wants to winge when they are pregnant its beyond me. Even if they are using birth control we are told time and time again this isnt 100% effective. So its i think they should just accept the concequences as they no all the details. but as i say only if it is nessacary and the baby is suffering in later life. I know this one girl who was very young she was 13 same age as me at the time and she was with this lad and she fell pregnant and she wanted the baby, but her boyfriend told her if she got rid of it then he would stay with her, it tore her appart and she was ill for a time. The boyfriend didnt stay with her anyway and she was devistated, But she really wanted a baby and i think she regreted it to this day. She now has two babys and is the happiest ive seen her. I thing if she would have kept the baby she would have been fine and love her life without her so called boyfriend, but losing them both was hard for her. But it depends on the whole situation, but it what happens and i think we should deal with it. Abortions are an easy way out and it should be allowed only if there are health related issues.

I don't have a real life story, but I'm not against abortion,it depends on the circumstances of those involved, like say a 15 year old who is pregnant and has no support,is it not better to have the option than be a lone teenage mum,who will only want to be interested in boys/men and a night life, there are many reasons for choosing to have an abortion, and I'm sure it is never done lightly, also an abortion happens before the baby has even developed,it bears no resemblance to a human being, people who are anti abortion sometimes make me angry,as it is impossible for them to know about each individual case

I'll answer this question quite simply: I'm adopted. My mother was single and 18 when she found out she was pregnant, and my bio-father was 36 at the time, hardly a great relationship, I'm sure. Imagine it like this: for the moment pretend we are the closest of friends. If you want, imagine your best friend, boyfriend or husband, or dad or mom. Now imagine that my mom (or their's) decided that because it was too difficult to raise me (them), and would have been really hard, it would just be easier to have an abortion. Well, now I (they) don't exist, and they're no longer a part of your life. Granted, you would have never known them, but imagine the loss the world feels when someone is taken from us, when the wait to adopt a child is YEARS long (my parents waited several years, and that was in the late 70's early 80's). There are loving people out there that would love a young baby to take care of as their own, and as one of those baby's, I thank GOD everyday that my bio-mom gave me up for adoption, because my life has been made rich, and I think many other people's lives as well.

Yes, I was luck when my first child was born, he is Spina-Bifida, He has grown into a lovely guy and has a girlfriend, if he had been severe I would have considered an abortion, consequently, when I was pregnant with my daughter I had tests for the same and if they were positive it would have been severe and an abortion would be offered, I never wanted anything more than my second, third and twins the last time round more...
Does this help you for the against vote, it should never be used instead of contraception.

It's very subjective. I am pro abotion but only for the right reasons. It's not a form of contraseptive for people who were stupid. It's personal choice. There are many circumstances that could lead to you the option of aborting and until you've been in it you are not in a place to judge. Hideous malfomation, unsurvivable conditions, mothers life in grave danger etc. I've seen it all working at a maternity hospital. It can be unbelievably harrowing, so don't judge when you have no idea what it can be like.

I have two good reasons.......my children. Once you give birth to your children, you suddenly realize how horrible the practice really is.
Also, my best friend got pregnant in high school. She wanted an abortion but couldn't get one. Today, my friend is a third grade teacher and has a brilliant daughter who is extremely smart and talented. She is my god daughter and I couldn't imagine the last 15 years of our lives without her around.
Lastly, I think the fact that it takes a few minutes to end a new life makes the event of conception seem mundane, unimportant, and not much different than the event of grocery shopping. "yeah, got pregnant, so what. got an abortion. life goes back to normal. whatever." Getting pregnant should not be such a "whatever" event.

well my argument re: abortion is as follows:
We as individuals have the right to make our own decisions, we have our own morals and our own minds. We dont ask for permission or ask society if its ok to have sex or if its ok to put a few pounds on .. we just do it.... or not do it..depending on how we feel about the subject..
the argument re: life is life is another way to look at it.. but some say that embryo's are not featus and therefore they are not formed into little people..
later stage abortions - featus is a different matter.. not sure about that one

listed the following are 3 non-non secular arguments hostile to abortion: a million. It cheapens the cost of existence and turns it right into a throw-away commodity. human beings whinge about the growing homicide fee and function oftentimes pointed to violence on television, yet they don't element to abortion. If this is alright to kill an unborn fetus, then it would want to be alright to shoot someone with a pistol, correct? 2. It also undermines the premises of duty and duty on your movements (and certain, adult men are in basic terms as accountable -- it takes 2 to tango). If abortion were unlawful, maximum folk might want to imagine two times about having sex without taking precautions. If human beings prefer to have sex and under no circumstances have children, shouldn't they take precautions besides? 3. The announcement of Independence states "We carry those truths to be self-glaring: that all adult men are created equivalent, and they are endowed by employing their author with particular inalienable rights; between those are -- what's the first one? existence. this is not first by employing twist of destiny. Our Founding Fathers believed that the right to existence outmoded all different rights. Liberty is to be danger-free in basic terms so some distance because it would not intervene with a persons'' correct to existence, and the pursuit of happiness is to be danger-free in basic terms so some distance because it would not intervene with a persons'' rights to existence and liberty. P.S.: I easily haven't any difficulty with abortion in circumstances of rape, incest, or perhaps as the mum is in possibility of death or severe actual harm if she were to have the toddler. i'm, in spite of the undeniable fact that, very a lot hostile to the idea of permitting human beings to homicide unborn children for the sake of non-public convenience. you do not prefer to have children? high quality -- both (a) don't have sex, or (b) use birth control.
