look at the magazines try to copy their styles, get a new hair cut or go for a make over at the clinque counter. Or if you have a good friend with an out going personality and a sense of style, have her give you a make over, take you on a shopping spree or something.... Or talk to your mom, believe it or not she might have some good ideas.
....... I was always very shy in school, and didn't think much of myself. It took me until I was 20 years old to except myself for who I was and once I found a little self confidence, the boys started seeing me for who I was on the inside....
Liking yourself is so important... I am sure you are beautiful girl with a nice smile and sweet nature, you need to hold you head high, and say here I am, I like me, you will like me too and if you don't who needs you.

Don't care what other people think about you. You will find someone who likes you for who you are. Everyone out there likes someone different for all different reasons. I was shy also, sometimes guys like that and aren't intimidated by you. You didn't mention your age, but if you are under 18 just try to make friends and not get a boyfriend. They are over rated at a young age.

Shyness is not a problem for women when it comes to dating. It is commonly accepted that the man takes the initiative, and therefore the risk. For many men this is difficult because they are shy themselves. Many men would probably like to approach you but feel too intimidated. You can make it easier by signalling that you would like them to approach. If you see one you like, smile at him and hold his gaze for just little bit longer than would be normal. He should then come over and start talking to you. Then just continue to flirt. If you think men don't like the way you look then consider a diet, hair do, get new clothes and learn how to put on makeup.

I used to have the same problem, and on some days I still feel very timid. What you need to do is just be very confident in yourself and your appearance. That will show through in the way you speak and in all of your actions. It doesn't matter if they like how you look. If you like it, it will come across to others, you have to leave the doubt behind.

I think you have to like and love yourself first before needing the approval of a guy liking you. You are probably very pretty but may be dealing with a little bit of self-esteem issues. Try to love yourself first and once you do that you will feel better.

I think ever body feels that way at some time. You can change your looks (hair, make-up, clothes) and test the water. When you find the you, you like, keep it for awhile. For the most part guys think girls are hot.

Everyone feels that way until someone tells them otherwise, dont wait for some guy to make you feel better. Every person is beautiful, and dont let anyone tell you different

not much we can do if we have no idea how you look! For starters, being a little shy does not hurt a thing!
