In the beginning of a relationship people only show there good side but once they have you they show you there other side...the one i would prefer to slap to another galaxy

Thats why I dont go on official dates with "interested" people. Everybody thinks there is a standard to dating or acts a certain way to get what they want. I wanna see the person thats tired after work and flops on the couch with attitude. Thats what you have to live with.
Try to do everyday things with the person of interest. Dont makeup some fancy occasion so they can be all smiles and stories.
Personally, I dont do that. It makes for a lot of problems later. Might as well be straight with it.

Well it's only natural that people try to show their best side in order to make a good impression. Once someone starts feeling comfortable with the other person, that's when their true personality comes through. The fact is, you will never meet someone who you like 100%, there will always be flaws in their personality. The secret is to find someone with flaws you can handle.

This is why it's always good to date for a while... People always show their best at the beginning. You wouldn't go out with someone that showed you their other side first, would you? It's just human nature. Just be glad that you have sense enough to leave them... many wind up marrying these idiots thinking that they will change back to lovable!

well first I looked quickly at your profile and noticed that you have 20 plus best answers, so I am thinking you probably have a pretty well formed opinion about what you have been "noticing lately" - so what I notice is - that you are just noticing this about people, which leads me to believe that perhaps you are fairly young... that's a good thing though, well I hate to spoil reality for you but the truth about how people are only gets uglier the older you get and the more you know about how others and you really are... oh yeah, me to! lol) hang in there, 'cause we're all pretty nice people most of the time

Haha, we always want to make a good impression on others. I am sure you do the same. Think about interviewing for jobs. everyone does it. Just remember that people all have their quirks and good/bad sides. It takes time to recognize those attributes faster, but you learn usually with much heartache and grief in between.

People that only show you the good side are usually hiding something, i said early to someone, that cupid is on a mean streak so be careful and lose that person phone number and search again.

How many times have you experence this problem? I'm sure it is more then once. You can attempt to speak with a prior firend who dated them.. Or just hold back on your feelings until the real person steps out. Then you can dump them before you get too involved in the relatinship.

Take your time getting to know someone, alwasy observe how they treat other people. People are only going to show you the good, cause the bad might scare you off, but if they were really special then they wouldn't have a hidden agenda and show you who they really are upfront.

That's why I'm a firm believer in moving in with someone so you get to see them daily. They can't hide the other face for long. If they're genuine people then it'll show through. If not....then you know when to go.
